In a new webisode of Without Prejudice, Toronto criminal lawyer Marcy Segal delves into the unique story of how a former Toronto Police officer followed his dream of practising criminal law.  WATCH WEBISODE

Segal and her colleague Edward Royle interview Kevin Hunter, an associate with Edward H. Royle & Associates.

“It was a tough decision. Certainly there were pros and cons,” says Hunter, not the least of which he was up for promotion at the time. “I had to make a decision whether or not I wanted to stay with that career.”

Hunter says: “Eventually making that decision (to pursue criminal law) became the obvious choice.”

The interview touches on Hunter’s history, the advantages he’s found his past profession have on his current career as a criminal lawyer, and how he feels about holding police officers accountable today.  Watch Without Prejudice
