Hull speaks on challenging a will

Toronto trust and estate lawyer Ian Hull participated in the Law Society of Upper Canada’s Estate Litigation Practice Essentials 2012 program recently.

Hull, partner with Hull & Hull LLP, spoke on the topic of challenging a will.

“Solicitors are frequently faced with the dilemma as to whether they should produce or disclose client’s prior wills, notes respecting instructions for wills or other documents that are in their possession after the death of a client when these are requested by persons who have a financial interest in obtaining them,” an excerpt from Hull’s presentation says. His paper continues to explain which issues should be considered before such documents are released.
