Association aims for best outcome possible

The Association of Family and Conciliation Courts plays an important role in reducing and resolving conflict in families during separation and divorce, Toronto-area family law lawyer Andrew Feldstein writes in an article for Lawyers Weekly.

Feldstein, managing partner with Feldstein Family Law Group and member of the association, says the group is always looking to achieve the best outcome possible, especially for the children involved.

“We help parents who make the same relationship mistakes over and over again, such as using their lawyer to vent their rage, or engaging their children as confidants to take their side as messengers or spies – all huge mistakes,” Feldstein writes. “Sometimes we work with families where a parent purposefully tries to prevent the child from having a relationship with the other parent.”
