From Bay Street to the world of fertility law

Toronto lawyer Sara Cohen tells Project Sweet Spot about her journey from Bay Street commercial litigator to becoming a fertility lawyer –  including the importance of self-awareness, confidence in your idea, a strong support network and the vital step of marketing yourself through social media.

“I’m truly, truly engaged in what I’m doing, I love it, I’m inspired by what I do and I’m excited, I’m always excited, so that’s the difference, really,” says Cohen, principal at Fertility Law Canada.

“A lot of people have said to me things like ‘do good work and the rest will follow’ and I live by that and it’s worked for me,” she adds. Watch Project Sweet Spot video

Meanwhile, as a runner-up in the YummyMummyClub’s contest to find Canada’s Most Inspiring Mompreneurs, Cohen also recently shared her story and advice with other mompreneurs.

“I credit much of my success to the passion I feel for my practice.  I don’t believe that I would be as successful in an area of law that I didn’t feel strongly about. I care deeply about my clients, and I believe it shows,” says Cohen. Read YummyMummyClub article
